But don’t worry, qualified referrals sent before January 10, 2014 will be honored so you and your family member or friend will receive an American Express Reward Card. Your family member or friend will have until February 10th, 2014 to respond and complete their referral profile.
If your referral was completed by December 31, 2013 you will receive a $75 Reward Card and your friend will receive a $50 Reward Card. If the referral was completed after December 31, 2013 you will each receive a $50 Reward Card.
You must be an active Sprint postpaid subscriber (voice and/or data customers) in good standing to earn rewards for your referrals. Business customers, Sprint employees or employee accounts (SWAC) are not eligible.
Rules for Referrers
If you refer a family member or friend prior to January 10, 2014 who purchases a qualifying service between November 12 and December 31, 2013 you are eligible to receive a $75 American Express Reward Card and they will receive a $50 American Express Reward Card. If you refer a family member or friend who purchases a qualifying service between January 1 and January 10, 2014, you are eligible to each receive a $50 American Express Reward Card.

Rules for Referees
Unlock the Sprint Referral Rewards referral offer that was sent prior to January 10, 2014 from your friend by registering on the program website by February 10th, 2014. Make sure you complete your profile within 45 days of receiving your referral by entering your new Sprint phone number.
In order to qualify for a reward, the service activated must fulfill all of the following:
- The service must be purchased from a Sprint Owned store, a Preferred Dealer, Telesales or through sprint.com;
- The service must be a primary line on a newly activated Sprint account;
- The service must be on a newly purchased wireless phone.
This referral program is for consumers or IL business customers only. Newly activated family plans are considered one account. Shared plans (add-a-line) are not eligible for rewards. Business customers, Sprint employees or employee accounts (SWAC) are not eligible. You cannot refer yourself. Please see the Terms and Conditions for the complete program rules.

What happens if I cancel my Sprint Referral Rewards wireless service?
Only current Sprint wireless customers with qualifying service can participate in the Referral Rewards program. If you cancel your Sprint service, you will no longer be eligible to earn rewards. In addition, you need to have sent out your referral request by January 10, 2014 and have completed the process by February 10th, 2014.
What happens to my program membership if I change my service?
To participate in the program, you must be an existing Sprint wireless customer on a postpaid plan with an account in good standing. Your referral must have been sent by January 10, 2014 and responded to by February 10, 2014.
What if I change my Sprint Mobile Number after I register for the Sprint Referral Rewards Program?
If you change your Sprint mobile number you will need to update your phone number on your profile on the program website to continue participating in the Sprint Referral Rewards program. You can update your phone number by logging in to your profile and clicking on the Edit Profile button. Please remember to update your information no later than February 10, 2014.
What if the person I would like to refer already purchased Sprint service?
If the referee activated service within the past 30 days, they can register on the program website by clicking on the “Were You Referred?” button. During registration, they will be prompted to enter the email of the friend (referrer) who referred them. The referrer must be registered for the program so we can identify the email address. The referrer will then receive an email asking them to confirm that they referred the referee to Sprint. Once the referrer confirms the referral, we can start processing the referral. The referral option will only be available until February 10, 2014.
The person I referred deleted the referral email or no longer has the social media posting. What should I do?
You will no longer have the ability to resend the email or social posting. However, you can use the “Were You Referred” button on the home page to complete the referral. During registration, they will be prompted to enter the email of the friend (referrer) who referred them. The referrer must be registered for the program so we can identify the email address. The referrer will then receive an email asking them to confirm that they referred the referee to Sprint. Once the referrer confirms the referral, we can start processing the referral. This referral option will only be available until February 10, 2014.
Do referrals expire?
Yes. Referral emails and social media invitations are valid for 45 days. You can check the status of these referrals by signing in to your profile on the program website and viewing your Referral Statement on the Home Page. Please respond to all referrals by February 10, 2014.
How long does it take to complete a referral?
It takes 30 days for our system to verify a referral from the date both referrer and referee complete registration on the program website. Once our system completes the verification process, you will receive an email advising whether or not you have qualified for a Sprint Referral Reward.
Why was my referral denied?
If you have not activated a qualifying Sprint service or registered within the required time frame, no later than February 10, 2014 you will not qualify for a reward. If you have any questions about please contact us.
How is a Sprint Referral Reward earned?
In order to qualify the referrer and referee must both register for the program and complete the profile information no later than February 10, 2014 and fulfill all the program requirements stipulated in the Program Rules.
How long does it take to receive my Sprint Referral Rewards?
If you are approved for a reward, it will take approximately 8-10 weeks to receive your American Express Reward Card. The American Express Reward Card will be shipped to the billing address you have on file with the Sprint Billing Department. Please make sure that the Billing Department has the correct address on file for you to ensure that your reward is delivered on time. If you need to update your billing address, please press *2 on your Sprint phone to reach the billing department.
